The Advanced Networks Research Lab (ANRL) has been established by the academics and research higher degree students involved in advanced networks related research in the School of Computing and Mathematics. The research emphasis spans in wide range of basic and applied topics in wired and wireless networks addressing the challenges in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Vehicular Area Networks (VANETS), Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) and Cloud Computing. The objective of the Lab is not just to produce theoretical research but to create an intellectual and practical atmosphere where real research issues are addressed using the advanced technical tools available.
