Masters of Emergency Management, Bachelor of Social Science, Bachelor of Education David teaches across the undergraduate and Masters programs in emergency management. His diverse career in the emergency management sector, combined with his research, course design experience, and authorship of books on decision making and leadership, provides a strong foundation for his role as an emergency management educator. He has presented at more than 40 international disaster conferences across the Americas, Asia and Oceania, and each year he educates and coaches hundreds of disaster response and recovery leaders throughout Australia and New Zealand. David’s expertise is being used to update subjects, teach and mentor students, develop external partnerships, and support student recruitment. David is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Emergency Services, a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute, a Fellow of the Emergency Management Academy New York, a Life Member of the NSW State Emergency Service and a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers.
