Profile

Greg Linsdell has extensive operational and leadership experience across Australian law enforcement and border security. He served with Victoria Police as a general duties officer, detective and Tactical Police Officer in the Special Operations Group, before moving into education strategy and Superintendent in charge of recruit, investigation and management training at the Victoria Police Academy. Greg has held senior roles with the Australian Border Force, including Chief Superintendent of the Australian Border Force College and Commander of the Special Investigations Branch. He has managed investigative teams in the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry focussed on complex biosecurity investigations. In the university sector he has coordinated postgraduate leadership programs, served as Head of Campus at Charles Sturt University’s Port Macquarie campus, and led international policing and criminal justice training projects through the UNODC and the Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation. He holds master's degrees in law, criminology and education.
