Profile

Dr. Andrew McInnes was Program Chair of Policing and Security Programs at Rabdan Academy in the UAE before joining Charles Sturt in July 2018.  He previously completed over 30 years’ service as a police officer with the Police Service of Northern Ireland and was the Deputy Head of Training and Development based at the Police Training College in Belfast. He has extensive experience in police leadership, police training and development and also in Criminal Justice and Policing. He completed his PhD in organizational culture, strategic planning and change management at the University of Hull, England. He also holds a Master of Education and BA in Public Policy and Management, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
