PhD, MEd(KN&DigInnov), BA (Lit), Certificate IV (TAE) Katherine is currently Lecturer in Management. Her scholarly trajectory began with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, followed by a Master of Education in Knowledge Networks and Digital Innovation, reflecting a sustained interest in the intersection of pedagogy and digital technologies. She was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy by the University of Southern Queensland for her research on professional learning and teaching development in higher education. Prior to her transition to the university sector in 2013, Katherine worked extensively in vocational education, providing consultancy in eLearning and educational technology within corporate training environments. Her work is informed by a blend of academic rigor and practical experience, underpinned by formal qualifications including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Katherine’s current focus lies in enhancing digital learning environments and supporting academic staff in the design and delivery of innovative, student-centred curricula. Katherine is actively researching in the areas of the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching, including capability-building and academic development.
