Lucia is an experienced lecturer at Charles Sturt, mainly teaching Human Resource Management (HRM). Her background expands to the field of Communication, particularly Digital Internal Communication (DIC) at the nexus of HRM. She has an intercultural background, having studied and worked in several European countries, Indonesia, and Australia. This cross-cultural background enables Lucia to successfully adapt her teaching style to meet the individual needs of the different students and cohorts.

Lucia completed a PhD in Communication, focusing on Internal Communication and Transactional Analysis (TA) as a humanistic approach for personal, group and organisational development. Her main research interests include HRM regarding regional work and organisational resilience, digitally transformed workplace environments and internal training, and Communication in terms of DIC and TA in organisational settings. Together with international teams and as a soul author, she has published multiple articles in high-ranking journals, books, and professional magazines. She also presented at national and international research conferences.
