MSc(Acc & Fin) Greenwich; PGradCert(Business) Massey; DipCom Financial Accounting (TAR UC); CABC (TAR UC) After spending a brief time in auditing and tax positions in corporate firms, Peir joined the academia in 1997. Prior to joining CSU, Peir taught at universities in New Zealand and Malaysia. Peir has also held course administration and management positions for accounting courses at Universities in Malaysia and CSU. Peir specialises in teaching financial accounting and reporting subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Undergraduate Postgraduate Peir’s research interests include accounting education, corporate social reporting, public sector accountability and accounting for heritage assets. Peir’s current research focus is to ascertain the decision usefulness of information relating to heritage assets presented in financial statements of Australian public sector.Lecturers
