Lihong Zheng received her MSc degree on Automation of Industry, Taiyuan University of Technology. She got her PhD degree in Computing of Sciences at Faculty of Information Technology, University of Technology, Sydney. She is a professor at School of Computing and Mathematics, Charles Sturt University. She is an applied research leader and academic who is always keen to develop innovative solutions for real-time applications. Starting from industry robotics, she was involved in car number plate recognition for highway traffic monitoring. She is now focusing on artificial intelligence and computer vision for smart agriculture. Her multi-disciplinary collaborative research team has achieved several high-impact successes in translating research into business values.
