Dr. Mustafa, a senior lecturer in Computer Science at Charles Sturt University, sees himself as a perpetual learner, constantly striving for improvement. He attributes his acquired skills, with gratitude (alhamdulillah), to the guidance of his teachers, and co-researchers. Currently he is learning from his PhD students.

Under the tutelage of Professor Rik Henson at MRC-CBU, UK, he mastered large-scale data analysis. Dr. Mustafa earned his PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2015. He has served as a data analyst at both MRC-CBU, UK, and Monash University, Australia.

Dr. Mustafa advocates for academic-industry collaboration and has been developing commercial software tools since 2017. His expertise focuses on managing large-scale public sector data while adhering to ISO standards. He uses AWS SageMaker for machine learning, with a focus on distributed artificial intelligence. His software solutions are in use across Japan, South Korea, Australia, and other APAC countries.
