Profile

Ken Eustace is an ICT lecturer, researcher and journalist with a background in science and computer science education. Ken teaches information and communications technology (ICT) subjects in the School of Computing and Mathematics. His teaching portfolio includes supervising postgraduate IT project specialisations, Python programming, Web development frameworks (Ruby on Rails & Django), social networking and online communities, readings in ICT, software engineering project management and instructional gaming. Ken is a director of the Internet Special Projects Group and a member of the Centre for Research in Complex Systems (CRiCS) at CSU; a professional member of the ACM; a member of Australian Council for Computers in Education (MACCE) and the Association for Adjacent Education (MAAE), Geneva. His PhD topic was "Building Effective Learning Communities Online: An Ethnographic Study" and continues his work in that field as a Border Studies Associate.
