Katherine is currently Lecturer, Blended Learning in the School.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, a Master of Education (Knowledge Networks and Digital Innovation), as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Katherine began her career in the vocational education arena providing consultation services on eLearning and educational technology within the corporate training and development sector. She transitioned to higher education in 2013 when she joined the Online Course Innovation project within the former Faculty of Business, CSU.

Research Interests

Katherine's research is primarily in the field of applied educational technology, and she partners with research teams within CSU. Her investigations mainly focuses on technology's impact on learning experiences; and explores distinct online learning practices.
