Tanmoy has completed his PhD degree in Network Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Ireland. Prior to that he obtained MSc and BSc engineering degrees from the Chalmers University of Technology (CUT), Sweden and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh respectively. He joined the Centre for Research in Complex Systems (CRiCS) of the Charles Sturt University (CSU) in February 2015 as a post-doctoral researcher funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC DP Project-DP130103670). Before joining the CSU as a lecturer he has worked as an assistant professor in the American International University Bangladesh (AIUB), a casual academic in the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland and part time teacher in TAFE Western NSW, Australia. Tanmoy has a passion for literature, music, and languages. He is an NAATI Australia accredited language interpreter who worked for the Department of Home Affairs (ex Department of Immigration and Border Protection), Department of Human Services (Centerlink), NSW Health, Victorian Interpreting and Translating Service on a casual basis. Tanmoy has over 12 years of experience in lecturing and research in tertiary level educational institutions in Australia, Ireland, Sweden, and Bangladesh in Computer Science/Network Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Information and Communications Engineering/IT Security/Business Statistics etc. At CSU, he lectures and/or marks the following subjects: Member: Reviewer: Scholarships & AwardsLecturers
