Steve spent 24 years in the secondary education sector before commencing with the School of Policing Studies in 2019. He has extensive experience in developing, and overseeing the development of, engaging, innovative and exceptionally high-quality academic programs.
Throughout his career Steve has held a number of positions across several schools. These have included Principal, Assistant Principal, Information Technology Coordinator and Vocational Education and Training Coordinator. He has a considerable history of working with state and federal government policy, developing positive relationships with multiple stakeholders and achieving success in substantial grant applications.
In his various roles, Steve has had responsibility for implementing new ICT infrastructures, extensive policy writing, state and federal legislative compliance, risk assessment / analysis and staff development.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Education, Masters of Education and Graduate Certificate in Religious Education.
