Profile

Michael was a serving member of the NSW Police Force from 1999 to 2015 and upon his resignation had obtained the substantive rank of Sergeant. Michael had a diverse policing career having been stationed at metropolitan and country locations, performing a broad range of roles including, General Duties, Youth Liaison, Criminal Investigation, Police Negotiation, Alpine Rescue Operation.

Since resigning from the NSW Police Force and prior to commencing work at CSU Michael held Senior Investigation positions with both State and Federal governments investigating and educating staff in relation to fraud, misconduct and corruption. During this time Michael was also a special member of the AFP.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Policing, Advanced Diploma of Public Safety (Police Investigation), Diploma of Government (Investigation) and a Diploma of Fraud Control. Michael is currently attached to the School of Policing Studies, teaching session 1 of the Associate Degree in Policing Practice.
