Renee Walker is a registered Psychologist in Private Practice, with 22 years experience working in a variety of areas including Lecturing in Psychology at Charles Sturt University, Mental Health Crisis intervention, Early Psychosis management and more recently within organisational psychology areas including work health and safety, human resource management, corporate investigations and coaching.

In her private practice, Renee’s primary focus is working with people experiencing work related anxiety and stress.  With extensive experience Human Resources, Renee not only understands workplace health and safety and industrial procedures, but combined with her experience as a Psychologist, she also understands the impact of work related stress and anxiety on people.

Renee is also a certified Coach and qualified Mediator, who works with executives, managers and staff in private and government sectors, coaching Directors and Managers in managing staff through change, managing difficult staff behaviours, addressing workplace conflict, as well as conducting corporate investigations.  She also runs programs for leadership, communication and how to take a coaching approach in managing staff.

Renee is registered with AHPRA and holds full membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS)

Publications

Paper has recently been submitted to Australian Psychologist, where Renee is a Co-Author. The paper is titled: Older Adults’ Perceptions of Psychotherapy: What is it and who is Responsible?
