Associate Professor Mark Harrison is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant for the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies.

Mark holds a Masters Degree in International Customs Law and Management and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education. A former diplomat with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and a Senior Executive in the Australian Customs Service, Mark has more than 30 years experience as a practitioner in international law, trade, taxation and diplomacy. His research areas include International Customs Law, International Air Law, GATT/WTO and Regulatory Compliance Management. He is also Principal of Jane Franklin Hall, a Residential College of the University of Tasmania in Hobart.
