LLB, LLM, GCLTHE Profile Robyn was a Queensland police officer for over 15 years, leaving in 1995 at the rank of Senior Sergeant. She completed her law degree in 1991 and her masters degree in law in 1996. From 1995, she worked with the Criminal Justice Commission (as it then was) — Queensland’s ICAC equivalent — for almost 12 years, primarily in the role of Official Solicitor. During 2004, Robyn worked in Solomon Islands as a prosecutions adviser to the Royal Solomon Islands Police; a role supporting the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands (RAMSI). In 2007, Robyn moved to Canberra where she worked as a senior prosecutor with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions responsible for conducting District and Supreme trials and higher court appeals. She also spent a few years working with the Attorney-General’s Department reviewing Commonwealth sentencing legislation.
