Brian commenced as a lecturer with Charles Sturt University in 2012. Prior to this, Brian was a serving member of the New South Wales Police Force for twenty-nine years, holding the rank of Inspector/Duty Officer at the time of leaving.

Brian brings to Charles Sturt a wealth of policing experience in the area of operational policing, public order management (OSG Commander), senior police management, leadership and emergency management.

Brian has completed a Masters in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing, Graduate Certificate in Applied Management, Bachelor or Commerce and the Associate Degree in Policing Practice.
