Craig served 25 years in the NSW Police Force. With the substantive rank of Sergeant and Snr Prosecutor South Coast NSW, Craig also served at commissioned rank as Duty Officer/ Operational Commander - Shoalhaven Local Area Command. Craig was the NSWPF representative and co-architect in creating and implementing Circle Sentencing Court, for the NSW Attorney General and the NSW Judiciary.

Craig served in General Duties Policing, as a senior investigator within the Accident Investigation Squad, Plain Clothes and Criminal Intelligence Analyst. Whilst attached to the NSW Police Academy, School of Legal and Societal Studies, Craig was a teacher for recruit training and as author and principal tutor - NSW Safe Custody Course, Alcohol and Crime Course. Whilst serving at the Academy Craig was also the state coordinator for specialist courses.

Craig is currently attached to the School of Policing Studies, teaching Session 1 and 2 of the Associate Degree in Policing Practice.
