Profile

Kim served for over 23 years with the Calgary Police Service in Canada. Her policing experience included front line and mountain bike patrol, project management, protest and cultural mediation, forensic crime scenes, and restorative justice. She also served as a bail presentation officer, recruiting officer, and a member of the Diversity Resource team.

Throughout her career, Kim was responsible for specialized recruit and in-service training, and served for over 15 years as a range safety and qualifications officer.

Kim also guest lectured at the post-secondary level in policing and theology courses.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Policing degree, and a Master of Arts degree in Classical Arabic through CSU.  She is currently with the School of Policing Studies, teaching Session 2 of the Associate degree in Policing Practice.
