Melissa has been with Charles Sturt University, as an Associate Lecturer since 2016. Melissa holds a Masters in Education (Educational Leadership), Bachelor in Vocational Education and a Training and Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching Higher Education (GCLTHE).

Melissa teaches sessions one and two of the Associate Degree in Policing Practice as well as working short rotations in the Academic Curriculum Unit.

Prior to working with Charles Sturt University Melissa worked with the NSW Police Force, Police Driver Training as a Driving Instructor for twelve and a half years, and facilitated on the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Melissa has worked with the NSW Police force for over 16 years and has a sound knowledge of policing.
