Simone graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2006 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Mathematics. In 2010, she completed a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) through the College of Law. Simone also completed a Diploma of Education (Secondary) at Excelsia College in 2014.

Prior to Simone's appointment at Charles Sturt University in 2014, she worked as a solicitor, practising primarily in the areas of criminal law, family law and children's law. Simone was the principal of a small firm in Bathurst for 3 years prior to joining Charles Sturt.

Memberships & Activity

Simone is an active member of the community, sitting as a board member of Elizabeth Chifley Presbyterian Pre-School, and as Vice Chairperson of the Bathurst Early Childhood Intervention Service Management Committee.
