Steven Miles is an adjunct lecturer in the Centre for Law and Justice, Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security at Charles Sturt University. He lectures in criminal justice and law subjects. Steven has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and prior to joining Charles Sturt he was the Chief Executive Officer of a local Aboriginal land council and an experienced litigation lawyer in a regional law firm. Steven is on the Roll of Solicitors for the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia. In legal practice he was professionally engaged in a wide variety of areas of the law and in court cases conducted in New South Wales, federal courts and tribunals. These included criminal law, environmental and local government law, workplace relations and industrial law, family law and Native Title and Indigenous organisations law, commercial, civil and property litigation.Adjunct Staff
