FoBJBS HDR and Honours conference

Advancing FoBJBS Research through HDR and Honours Scholarship!

We extend a special invitation to all Higher Degree Research and Honours students, supervisors and faculty academics to join us at an exciting conference focused on advancing FoBJBS research.

This FoBJBS HDR and Honours conference offers a platform for HDR and Honours students and academics to explore the cutting-edge research topics, engage with innovative ideas, and shape their research for solving Australia’s regional challenges with global impact. During this conference you will connect with distinguished keynote speakers, collaborate with peers and research support teams, and present your outstanding projects.

This year the conference will be online with meet and greet sessions on the Albury, Bathurst, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga campuses.  There is no travel support available.  If you are located close to one of  these campus locations and can travel at your own cost, then please do so.

A/Prof. Civilai Leckie

Dr Civilai Leckie holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Melbourne (Australia), a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University (USA), and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from Thammasat University (Thailand). Her research areas are concerned with customer brand engagement, consumer behaviour, business-to-business relations, relationship marketing, branding, and services marketing and innovation. Civilai has substantial experience and expertise in survey design, quantitative research, and data analysis.

Vernon White

Charles Sturt Alumni

Vernon White is senior leader with experience in law enforcement, academia, and in government. He served the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for nearly 25 years,  leaving as an Assistant Commissioner and then served as the police chief at Durham and Ottawa Police services for 7 years. Recently he has been active as a consultant providing advice and strategic support to organizations in Canada and abroad.

Dr Chrissy Antonopoulos

Charles Sturt Alumni

Dr Antonopoulos Chrissy is a Registered Psychologist and has completed degrees in psychology, applied science, clinical trials research, and a PhD in psychology at Charles Sturt University, researching implicit bias, personal values, and employment of people with disability. In 2024 Chrissy was awarded the prestigious Harold Yuker Award for Research Excellence from the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology, American Psychological Association.
