Professor Lewis Bizo, the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business Justice and Behavioural Sciences, joined Charles Sturt in July 2022. Lewis has extensive experience in Academic Leadership in Higher Education, having held substantive leadership and administrative roles in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

Lewis holds a PhD in psychology and expertise in the behavioural sciences. Lewis has published extensively on animal behaviour, farm animal welfare, criminology and experimental psychology in high-quality international journals. Lewis has a strong research background in psychology, with international recognition and awards, as well as publications and grants in diverse and applied fields. He is known for his commitment to a collaborative and innovative approach to teaching and learning, involving the application of new technologies and evidence-based methods to improve the student experience.
