Katherine is currently Lecturer, Blended Learning in the School.  She holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Southern Queensland where her thesis explored learning and teaching professional development in higher education. She also holds a Master of Education (Knowledge Networks and Digital Innovation), a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Katherine began her career in the vocational education arena providing consultation services on eLearning and educational technology within the corporate training and development sector. She transitioned to higher education in 2013 when she joined the Online Course Innovation project within the Faculty at CSU.

Research Interests

Katherine is actively researching in the areas of the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching, including capability-building and academic development. She has also been involved in investigating and observing the application of educational technology in learning experiences and have partnered with various research teams within CSU.
